Hello everyone.
As some of you here might be knowing that I live away at hostel doing my MBA. And finally after eight months I have come back to my home. I love this feeling. I am pretty sure that all of you might have gone through the same feeling when you visited your home during vacations when you were at school or college.However, this is going to be last time for me. As I would complete my studies the next time I go back home. And things will be different after that as I will have a house of my own.
So please share your experiences with me. Would love to read them...

Hi shames, you are right, most of the hostel students will get the same feeling while going to their home. I am a day scholar during my school and college days. After my marriage we are living alone. I will go to my parents house twice in a week and get more happiness while staying with my parents and siblings.

Hi vidhyaprakash.
Well twice a week is still quite frequent. I go back home once or twice a year. The longer you stay away from home the greater the feeling you get when you get back home. And I feel bad that you never got to experience the hostel life. I must say that you missed something very important. Anyways thanks for your response and have a nice day ...

Hi,
My son was living away from our home for 7 years due to his studies and job. He also used to come to meet us on every weekend. Now we decided to live together. After my retirement we shifted to Pune where he is working. Now we are living together happily. There is no place like home.

So you are an Indian as well. Also glad to know that you live near by. My home is at Nanded. But I stay in Kolkata. As I mentioned, I came here for Holidays. Your son used to visit you at least during the weekends. I visit my home once in a year or so.

I had been dreaming to live in a hostel at a famous university yea. I will be going for my university soon and hopefully i would get to experience it soon yea.

Hi booby.
I am pretty sure that you are going to have a wonderful time after you join the university. But I would advice to always keep in mind that the prime reason that you came to university is to study. And I hope you do not forget that in the middle of all the fun that you will have.

I have not back to my home town for 2 years. I miss my room indeed and also all my books. I think I will back home in december. There so many things I have to deal with before I back home, I hope I can finsih them all on time this year.

Well two years is a long time . I hope you have at least met your parents in the mean time. I am very sure that you will be able to complete all those works before December and will celebrate the Christmas and the Happy New Year with them.

I was wondering where you have been for the past couple of months. I did get notifications for your blogs. So I was wondering what kept you away from mylot. And yes.. Not only I am going to eat a lot of home made food but also I will be able to spend a lot of time here on mylot as well.. Have a nice day !!!
