The illuminati conspiracy!?

So i know everyone hears stories about the illuminati and stuff. But who really understands what they are or if someone made them up to cover up what's really going on? Well I for one don't know. But i do know that there is a site called," The new world order, the illuminati" and it has stuff about the illuminati in it and how you join and stuff like that. Talking about the enemy supposedly we all face every day. But when you read into the illuminati in a different site or well google it, it is the complete opposite thing. The one on this site talks about freeing the mind of everyone. Freeing the world from the enemy, supposedly, "the market". Which when you read about it the market is the rich people of the world. Crazy i know. I stumbled upon this site and it confused me. I mean i am all for conspiracy theories and such. But this is boggling. The illuminati is supposed to be this secret society that supposedly worships the devil and wants to rule the world and make people not be able to think for themselves. But he at this site they want to free the minds of everyone and create this new religion called pythagorean something... Some kinda religion based off mathmatics. Supposedly a pagan religion... I doubt it but to each his own... Anyway I'm rambling, I want to see what you all think. Do you think the illuminati is to save to world or take it to total damnation...
