Super Stress Finals

March 14, 2013 6:56am CST
I love learning and studying so much. I really can't go on a day without reading my notes or without reading a book. But this week and the following me are the worst days for me. Teachers are really giving us a hard time with regards to their final exams. How come they won't let us go home early? I would still enroll on summer class. Gosh! I think I'm really getting crazy staying up late and studying. Please help me God. :(

Finals is really the hardest time for us students. Teachers/Professors is being hard to us also. They will give us so many projects and school works that we're like "where to start?" But it is an achievement and worth the hard work finishing all those bulk school works in time and getting high grades.

school days was crazy for me there so many laugh, scream and hysteria and curioucity but when it come to finals everyone will be stressful and become rather quit and all busy with the notes and books. I love study but I admit that science science especially chemistry and biology is not my thing

HAHAHA really? I love science. Why? Because I'm a medical student. Yes, students just enjoy with their lives in school but when finals comes. they all started to comply requirements in fear of failing on that subject. :D

That is how student life is. It could be stressful sometimes. But you sure would be feeling great when you graduate. A few months after graduation I missed going to school. I was so used to getting pressured reading 3-5 chapters of a book, having to deal with a lot of patients and getting all the clinical requirements done on time.

Hi krizzay! That is a part of being a student. Those who finished studying and already working this time also passed that stage. That is just temporary. It might be difficult but think of the reward you can get at the end. I can see my daughter having the same difficulties. I can see her studying from the time she came home up until midnight especially during exams and she still have to do her projects. Actually, it is very different nowadays with students. So many things that you have to learn. Just keep going! You will be given a task that you cannot do. Have a great day!

yeah you need to realise that there is more to life than just studying. All the studying you do needs to serve a purpose, we don't study just to study. We study to learn how to do something, but learning doesn't come with just theory it comes with practice as well. So all the things you study you shouldn't restrict yourself to just studying them but you should get to know them from a more practical point of view. If we just studied and never did the things we studied for, then don't you think it would have been a waste of studying? I suppose not if someone genuinely just studies for the pleasure they receive from it.

i really thank you for your advice elsino91 :) A person cannot survive if he/she doesn't have a determination and purpose in life.

Hi krizzay! All that you're experiencing is part of being a student so just be patient and you'll get past that eventually. It's okay to feel pressured and stressed especially now that its finals week. But always put in mind that you will soon be rewarded after all your hardwork. Think of it as a training that will help you later on in life.

Hi krizzay. Which class are you in? Even I had to study from morning to night when I was in my senior high school. But it paid off and I got into the best college of my country. Though I did not pay that attention to studies but worked hard enough to land up with a decent job. However, I decided to continue my studies. And now I am doing my MBA. I spend much of my first year on other activities. But I think it is time now that I should get serious and I would be spending whole day on my studies in the final year. So it all depends on which stage are you in? And it can only decide if it is worth spending that much time on studies. Have a nice day !! SuperShames
