What if we had wings

I was wondering what it would have been if we had wings and could fly with it. Would there have been any need for airplanes? would you have been paying for flights? Would there have been road traffic jams if cars were built. Wouldn't it have been very convenient for people to dress up early in the morning and fly off to work. Do you think there would be hold ups up there.

That would be awesome. Let's just put it that way. However, we may still take flights or boats or drive for long distances, because you would only be able to fly for so long without getting tired and hungry. I would probably fly almost everywhere, just cause it would be awesome.

I strongly believe there would be need for Airplanes, Ship, Cars but less traffic and less use. It would even be more convenient because you can easily maneuvre long distances by flying at any convenient bearing.

Yep, I think it would be great for commuting type things, even if you needed a break from flying.
For example, instead of having to wait for the subway or bus to go somewhere if you normally take transit, you would just fly and get there quicker. You have to think how crowded the sky would be too though if everyone could do it. With our world's population... there would be people everywhere! A really interesting concept though, and also really strange to think about.

that would be so great and the feeling of the wings and flying itself is great. no roads , no traffics.. wow. this is really a very good discussion .
but unfortunately when we open our eyes its only our thought or our dreams which will never come to reallity.

your right if only those are true, no more hassles for us. i love the feeling of no traffic... no more expensive plane tickets, you will just plainly fly.

Just as I view it as a thought, I also believe we are living in a world of possibilities and uncertaintiess. Considering recent innovations which outweighs an average man's imagination. I think anything is possible.

That will be a wonderful life, i can fly to any where i like, i don't have to depend on the airlines company to go long distance anymore, i will not pay flight anymore, and face rip-off again and again. No more traffic jam for me in the morning and evening commute to and from my office. It will be very convenient to go different places with a pair of wings. But any new invention that give us a pair of wing is definitely going to cost us either a moon or a star.

Nice idea, perfect reasons. Even if it will cost us a fortune, it will be for the period of first invention, as time goes on, more companies will learn and produce more and making it common and even cheaper so everyone could have it. It would worth the price anyway.

Probably we could fly freely and enjoy the freedom of it but I am not sure how we can be able to fly if we need to bring lots of bags or paper bags. I mean, if we put them all in a big bag and cross it over our body while flying, I think that there would be just a certain amount of load that we can handle.

Yes Jenny, you are absolutely right. For me though, I would prefer flying over and again with multiple loads till I'm done conveying them.

hi,
It is a nice idea. if we have wings then there is no need to purchase fruits from markets. we would fly on trees and have a favorite fruit. No need of planes for shortest distance. For long journey we would need plane because our wings may get tired by long flying. There would be no traffic jam on the road but there would be traffic jam by flying people.

I think there would be no need for cars or transport on the ground then. It would save a lot of pollution. We have the whole sky so I don't think there will be any problems to jam ups there. I think it would be nice.

Even if we had wings, I think we still need the airplanes. It is just like we have feet, but we also need a car because it will takes us long time arriving at the far away destination. But it will be great for us to have wings. As I think it shall be faster than walking.

Scientists are about inventing virtually everything. If wings were on sale, would you have bought even when it is very expensive to.

I also use to think the same .I feel it would be very good. We could just fly to our destination. No need of vehicles to travel and there will be no traffic also. There were no need of airplanes also. We could just fly freely in the sky and we wont have to face traffic jam problem..
