Thanks God, D&C was over. Before the procedure was done, I was so nervous I didn't know what to think and do. I brought with me a little booklet containing the prayer for the Holy Child to make me strong thinking that Jesus was with me during the whole period of the procedure. It was done only less than an hour. I thanked God for this. When I was discharged from the hospital, I immediately reported for work. One of the staff asked me if I won't avail of the special leave that is granted under the Magna Carta of women. Two months leave of absence without deductions from my leave credits. So I surfed if D&C is included. There it is very clear. What I did was I wen out of the office and proceeded to the hospital to get the necessary medical certificate to support my application for leave of absence. I am glad that we have this kind of leave so that I can rest and would no be thinking of work during the entire period of my absence.

Two months leave is very generous and more than necessary for you to recover. When I had a D &C I was given a week's absence and thisn was ample time for recovery. I am glad that it is over for you and wish you a speedy recovery

Thank goodness you're doing fine after your D&C. And I am glad that the prayer helped you to calm down and face your procedure. Good thing you will be able to have that much needed rest before you resume your work.
