This afternoon is my rest day. I have no work, I have all this time of the day to do what i wanted to do. Just before I've started writing this post, I've already watched several shows on TV - HBO Movie marathon, Disney Channel, CI, etc., But just before my eyes gets to irritate from the radiation from the TV, I decided to go to the kitchen and grab something to eat. I have searched on our fridge and found a cold and sweet Leche Flan. I asked my mom who made this and said my Tita (Aunt) made and gave it. This sweet dessert never fails to amaze me of the sweetness it gives, how it melts on my mouth and the soft texture of it :) It actually have given me a boost to start writing and participate here today and share my experience. I just can't explain how a simple dessert do this to me, refreshens me, moves me, and do relevant things instead other than TV. I feel relieved and I know now how and where Ill be spending the rest of the day with this sweet happiness. P.S. Thanks to Tita! hihi :)

I love the photo! I love sweet treats! And I haven't had leche flan for so long. I don't know how to make one. My hubby, on the other knows; however, doesn't have a sweet tooth. Oh well! Enjoy your dessert/snack! Make sure to burn the calories off after indulging!

These are sold on cake shops and resto at home. I barely see leche flan sold on the streets in the Philippines. Although, we cook it in multiples during social gatherings. Super yumm! So worth the sugar!

I love leche flan. It is one of my favorite desserts. My mother cooked two dozens of leche flan when we celebrated the feast of our place. I watched as she cook and it is easy and simple to do leche flan. :)

Is this made from Lychee, or something else. If it is so, it is a delicious fruit, which I like very much. We are fond of it in summers a lot.

Nope, it's not. Leche flan is made from egg yolks, condensed milk and sugar.

Hi ! Aunts are just another's spoiler in niece and nephew's life . She always do and give that can make kids happy. I got the sweetest Aunt but so sad she'passed so early. It is the first time i saw a red Leche Plan usually the color of it is yellow. This color is just so cute and looks like so mouth watering . Lechen Plan is such a very nutritious food and because of its sweetness kids even adults loves it.

it made me crave for leche plan after reading your topic .I love lecheplan but now it' expensive to buy now the pure lecheplan made from eggyolk without egg white that is the delicious and the original one.I ordered a cheap one for our new years eve.BUT i don't enjoy the taste for the include the white egg and put a flour there. So I was not satisfied.

Oh leche flan, my dearest flan of love. It definitely is a creation of love because of the effort you spend to make this the absolute divine flan. The ration of egg yolks to sugar to time of cooking. I don't have the talent for making an absolute perfect leche flan, but my taste buds never lie with all the leche flans I tasted in fiestas. Have a sweet day!
