Can they see your real picture?

It seems most mylotters have not uploaded their real pictures in their profiles. But I am sure all of us have no inhibitions, when it comes to posting or updating our pictures on FB. Can you think of any reason behind mylot users not putting up their real pictures? Is it because the site is not picture friendly? What is your idea of hyper-linking your mylot profile to your FB account, where your mylot friends can see your pics on your FB account.

my photo is real on every account I have I not like to talk to people on face book if they have no photos of them self

Hi blackrusty You know I choose if I am able to, to never use my real photo for safety reasons. I do like to look at someone and it does make it more personal but when I started really getting into the computer (other than emails) something inside of me told me no real pictures. I have had some sites I had no choice but it made me uncomfortable. I do understand what you are saying but I hope you give some of us a chance.

I do use my real photo here. It doesn't bother me. Some people are worried about it for privacy concerns or safety issues. I don't feel like that is something I have to worry about here. =) I feel comfortable here for the most part...

I use my real photo here. I also use my real photo on Facebook (or a photo of one of my adorable dogs :) However, for me there is a huge difference between Facebook and MyLot. Every single person I am "friends" with on Facebook I know personally. Here on MyLot, I do not know a single "friend" personally. For me, FB is about staying connected with family and personal friends, and keeping up on how they are doing. On MyLot, its about engaging in light discussions with nice people from all around the world. The two sites are completely different for me.

Hi friend, it is our own wish to upload our own photo in this site, here there is no compulsion to upload our picture and some persons uploaded it based on their interest, there is nothing wrong in linking your mylot profile with your fb account, if you are interested you can do it

I do have my real pics up.
Some do it for safety reasons, some do it because they don't really like their appearance and some do it so that they can be someone else. ( simply my theory ;) )
I would rather not have my fb hyperlinked, I only share that with select people. Yes I know once its on the net anyone can get to it no matter my privacy settings but still....

Maybe some people feel comfort for that because they can discuss about whatever they want here, and maybe it will make them to have limit if they use their real name and picture.

I always use my real photo whenever I joined a site.
I don't have anything to hide and fear of.
People can use other photos like celebrities and I am sure no one will get interested to use mine (ahahaha)
Well..I don't like talking to anyone without their real photo.
