Do you enjoy any benefit as an employee? What benefits do you get? Every country has different practices. We can learn from each other here and maybe we can adopt something good which will benefit us.

the company where we work should take care of its employees. one of the ways to take care of employees is to provide reasonable and adequate benefits for the employees so that they can work well and perform to the maximum. i always like paid vacation. i think this is being done in the western european countries where employees take vacations and get paid.

Yes, paid vacation is good. Over here we are given number of days we can take off with salary. However, there is no such thing as taking the whole week or month off. Not unless you are in the higher management positions.

I work for myself, so that is the major benefit that I have now. When I did work for a company, some of my favorite benefits was affordable healthcare for my family, overtime/bonuses/incentives and 401/pension/employee stock plan.

Well, I think you have the best benefit -- freedom. I consider freedom is the real benefit which no employee gets to enjoy.
