finally spring! perfect time for picnics and barbecues!

I love when the nature comes back to life, i'm a nature lover and i love picnics and barbecues. Don't imagine i'm "a big" person, i only weigh 90 lbs but i like to eat outdoor and in the same time enjoy the good weather :) sometimes we don't have money to go on vacation so we choose a picnic instead, it can be a pleasant experience, don't you think?

Spring is such a beautiful time of the year. I enjoy the freshness of everything coming to life. I love picnic's. In fact they can be more fun than a lot of other things that people do. I saw my first Robin the other day and sure loved the sight of him.

I know what you mean. I have a tv but it isn't hooked up. Once in a blue moon I will watch a movie but that is it. I love being out with my dogs, listening to the birds and loving the fresh air. It has been pretty nice here the last couple of days and I hope it stays that way.

Hi velvet, i love sprng, i love flowers and trees, grass that's why i like to spend time outside, having picnics or just simple walks with family and friends.It surely is more fun than staying in the house and watching tv.

When we were kids, my mom and dad would take us to different places. Having a picnic was one of the unforgettable memories I have.
I wish I could also spend the same experience with my kids. But my husband isn't into it. I guess it is really difficult to do things from childhood when both husband and wife do not have the same childhood experiences.

Vacations are always with my parents. I do not know how my husband is just fine for not having the family time that other families have. And so my parents fill in that gap instead.

Hi jenny, so sad your husband doesn't enjoy picnics :( but at least you can go on vacations and plan a picnic there or a barbecue. I believe when we're on vacation we're more relaxed and willing to please the others, maybe this will apply in his case too :)

Autumn is here in my country because I live in the southern hemisphere. Still, I`m wearing my summer clothes with a cardigan for early morning and late at night. We have mild winters here, with maybe a week or so of below 0ยบ C for one hour at the most at dawn. I can have veggies year around, but I have to put a plastic over my lettuce to save them from the frost. I love barbecues and we can have them maybe for 9 months of the year.

It is unnecessary to hangout in fancy restaurant to show off, or eat those expensive food that wasn't worth the cost. I love picnic too, and I really enjoy to sit on the green and watching those birds, and animals. It is really relaxing when you can enjoy some sandwich and good drink under the blue sky.

Hi kingparker, i agree with you, why hanging in fancy restaurants instead enjoying good and natural food with friends and family and the sun smiling? I love to lay down on grass and watch the blue sky :)

That's righ, the nature is wonderfull and I also love it to stay outside with family and friends.
But yesterday, it was snowing here almost all the day, so even having started spring on our calendar, otside it seems that the winter doesn't want to leave!

Hi camomile, winter wants to stay for a little while but it can't last too much, spring will come soon in your country too, i hope so :) this week was cloudy but for this weekend we'll have a good weather :)

I also love outdoors and barbecues. And you are way smaller than I am. I weigh 120 and not anywhere near the border of being overweight but still not as light as I want to. Since we can only do this on really good and warmer weather and hopefully that weather will be here sooner, I need to make sure I have enough "leverage" just in case I wasn't able to burn all the barbecued foods that we will prepare.

Hi Raine, i'm also a short person, that's why i weigh only 90 :) but i want to gain more because i'm too thin :p hope you'll enjoy a good weather soon, i made a walk today and i was very happy with the great weather outside.

Hi trisha, it's necessary to go out, to make walks everyday to keep us fit and healthy. I also enjoy a barbecue or a picnic with family or friends when i can't go somewhere else, it can be a lot of fun :)

I love it when it get warm, and I love it when we have cook outs, they are the best when your out side, enjoying your self eating and just having a great time, we won't be going on vacation this summer,I will be spending the summer, with my grand daughter going out places, and just enjoy my summer.

I love to have a picnic. I like it when the weather is nice, but not too hot. It makes it easier to have a picnic or to go for a walk. the last time I went on a picnic we also ended up walking on a nature trail as well. I even think that a picnic is even a good idea for a date idea.

Spring season is the best time of the year.We can feel the freshness of it. Its a better climate for picnics than summer and winter season.If the weather is pleasant ,we can really enjoy the picnic.
