Ladies, would you choose to work?

I always get an 'it depends' answer to this question. I know that when the one gets married, considerations double and factors need to be based on both for yourself and your better half.
But what if everything is smooth - husband has a job enough to feed the family and their needs and you are settled comfortably - would you still prefer to work?

those who have worked, were financially independent, and achieve something through hard work in their career before getting married eventually miss and seek the mental stimulation and social interaction provided by a job or having co-workers or clients to attend to. so some either work part time or start their own business. it gives you a sense of identity and achievement separate from being "wife" and "mom."
