When I was young, sometimes i wished i were a boy because my cousins are all boys. I envy them whenever they go out and fly kites in the field. I hoped I could join them to, but they never allowed me to go with them because I'm a 'girl'. But now I like myself being a girl because I can do so many things that boys can't, like giving birth. :) I guess that would be the best reason why women exist in this world.

Welcome to mylot, that's perhaps normal with most children, they are often not contented with what they have, but eventually when they grow up and mature and gain wisdom, they'll realize their mistakes and learn to appreciate things they used to hate. Yeah, you are absolutely right, probably one of the best reason women exist, because we all need to have a loving mother :).

I was born a little baby girl and my sister is five years older than me. I loved being a girl playing with dolls and other girly like things. Now I am a grown up lady and I have given birth three times. I have three children and my oldest is almost grown up. He will become 18 years old next month. My other son will become 6 years old in two more months. My daughter will become 4 years old in three more months.

Still, I do not understand why they would not allowed you to go with those boys and it all because you are a girl. I also experienced that treatment and it really turn me off. I was treated that way since child until I grew up. Still this question always ponder on my mind and I brought it up until I grew up and I am not still satisfied of what I have. I am a woman and still strunggling to be a woman. How I wish I was born as a man.
I do not why. I just do not feel it. Someday God would enlighten me and I am waiting for that day that I am be satisfied for what I have.

I also wish in my childhood if I could be a boy and unfortunately after becoming a mom still I have the same wish. maybe it is because so much unfair happened to me and that is my reason that I still wish if I could be a man..

When I was still a child, I also wanted to be a boy. Not because I wanted to play their games, but because I liked to dress like a boy. I also thought that it was cooler to be a boy than to be a girl. But later on, I met women (teachers, etc.) and read about women who are admirable and whom I could look up to. I realized that there are also good things about being a girl, and I learned to take pride in being a girl. :)
