Island Life

As I ponder where to enjoy myself on my next vacation, the answer soon becomes clear. I need to find an island. Somewhere where I will be safe, comfortable, and with a decent standard of living. I am always doing research before I go, and it makes my travels safer. Islands offer what mainland territory doesn't always have. A slower pace and wild and natural scenery from a less developed place is quite inviting. Having my choice of beaches is also important. I can see myself being in my own little world for a little while until I go back home and appreciate my home even more.

Oh, that must be fun! I also dream of having a vacation in an island. So far, I can't have that vacation yet. I hope someday, I can stay in an island for a couple of days. Goodluck to you. I hope you can find a safe place. May you enjoy your vacation.

I love a tropical island with palm trees and snorkeling off shore. In 2006 I visited Caye Caulker in Belize. It is a beautiful island with hardly any traffic and a sandy main street. One of the smaller cays in Belize would be even better for you. I would love to visit Little Corn Island in Nicaragua. It sounds like a little paradise to me. I adored visiting La Digue Island in the Seychelles in 2004. Good luck choosing where to go for your island life.
