Today I feel too much pain with my tooth. I have a problem in taking pain reliever because I have an allergy to the pain reliever. What is the best thing I can do to relieve the pain I feel?

there is a medicine that you can use. ask your pharmacist about this. it's liquid and you put drops of it directly on the tooth. if you do not want to use this, try filling the tooth (if there's a hole) with chilli seeds. i've heard this works.

What would be the other alternative since chili is so hot if you put it on the tooth?

i mentioned the medicine that is sold on pharmacies. you put drops of it on the infected tooth. i am not sure about the name/brand of this but you can explain your situation to the pharmacist and i'm sure they have it.

What kind of pain reliever you are allergic of?There are many kinds of pain relievers, they can be classified according to their generic names. It's important that you know your allergens, so you can avoid it in the future. Most common pain relievers that cause allergy are Ibuprofen and Aspirin while Paracetamol is the safest in most people.Just avoid taking it when not necessary because prolong use can have adverse effects. The thing you can do is to visit your dentist to know the real cause of your toothache. You may need more than pain relievers.

Im allergic with mefenamic acid. Im afraid I will be allergic with other brands of pain reliever. That is why Im looking forward for other alternatives like home remedies that can relief the pain.

Do not feel disappointed that you are allergic with a pain reliever, that is due to the fact that there are other options to choose from.A pain reliever has a correct generic name. You should need medical attention to be check what type of pain reliever is best for your toothache to be address properly,so that your pain would be stop, then you could enjoy your life to the fullest again.

Sucking on an ice cube could help. Or try to get another painkiller, they may have one in your pharmacy which doesn't have the ingredients you're allergic to.

When my son was teething I would rub the gum with an ice cube for immediate relief and rub the sore place with cloves for longer term relief. Cloves are good on toothache too.
