Niagara Falls in Winter

Niagara Falls in winter is an experience I will always treasure! Leaning over the balustrade with the icy spray misting your face, the roar of the waterfalls overwhelming your senses and gazing at the awesome power of the rampaging water all contribute to the intense emotional grip you are transported to. I wanted to go on the boat ride that traverses the undertow beneath the waterfalls, but that experience was not to be when my family and I were there in December 2011. Perhaps Niagara on the US side in summer would be another exciting trip to look forward to.

I live in England and have been on three trips to the West Side of America. I have been California and Hawaii in that lovely country. You see I have stopped off on my way to or from Australia or New Zealand in 1993, 2001 and 2002. I love to see majestic looking waterfalls and was lucky enough to see Iguazu Falls in South America in 2012. These waterfalls sit on the border between Argentina and Brazil. I went to see both sides of it and also went to a wonderful bird park in Brazil. Wow! One day I would love to see Niagara Falls in America and Victoria Falls in Africa. I hope you are able to visit the American side of Niagara Falls in summer time. That would be excellent for you and your family.
