Being located in a Tropical country that is near the equator, it really is a hot summer here! But despite the temperature I really want to enjoy summer. The other day, we went out of town and visited a certain restaurant known for its HALO-HALO. Well, I don't if a lot of you know halo-halo but it is a special delicacy here in our country. Going back, it is quite a new experience having to eat halo-halo with a unique taste and placed in a coconut shell without the top portion. It was a big serving for one person but is great to cool the summer heat. I am just sad I was not able to go to their beach and take a swim. Summer won't be complete for me without a swim.

Hmm... you made me curious about halo-halo. I'm gonna look it up and try it if I have the chance.
I'm going to compile a to do list for the summer, with some fun and with some bigger things as well. I really wanna go abroad and eat in a nice restaurant, also swim in a like (or sea or ocean) and watch our country's fireworks in person.

I for got to upload a photo together with the discussion so that you could see how it looks like. Is there a way to add a photo on a already posted discussion? I, too, have lots more in line with my to do list for summer and I hope I get them all done. If you try and swim make sure you do know how to because some beaches have big waves that can wash you away. It so lovely having to watch fireworks but we often see fireworks during Christmas and New Year's eve.

I hate this summer specially at india.
I have to drink lots of water and some cools stuff everyday... i just hate using of sun screams.
I am planing to go out with my family outside of inida to somewhere... i want to feel the cold weather because i have skin problem and it easily get damaged by sun.

Yes, you really should drink a lot of water because dehydration is commn during summer because it's too hot and we perspire a. lot. You may hate sun screen because it has a sticky feeling or something,but it is good for skin protection. And if you have the money to go somewhere cold,then go! :-) Have fun with your family!

Hi wowjen15 Welcome to Mylot, I hope you will enjoy your stay, here with us and make lots of friends, while you are her with us, I hope you are able to enjoy your summer and get to have a swim,we are slowly getting into spring, it been cold here,I have plans for the summer, I will be spending it with my grand daughter, I will be taken her to the zoo, and we will be going out to Lunch everyday.

Thank you TLilly12 for the warm welcome. I will definitely enjoy Mylot and yeah I do hope I can make lots of friends. I do envy countries with 4 seasons. We only get to experience summer and winter and even if we call it winter, it does not really imply snowing but the temperature gets a little low so in turn gets colder. Eating outside and going to the zoo is a great idea. Honestly, I havr only been to a zoo for not more than 5 times.
