What according to you is Salvation ?

Often I hear from my Christian Brothers that Salvation lies in the cross, i.e believing that the Son of God died in the cross our sins. Is that so ? If Salvation really lies in the Cross, what about the people who came before Him, how would they have known about Him ? How could they have known that a Man called Son of God will come and dies in the cross for their sins, and if they believe in it, they will have salvation. Do you think that is is possible for them to believe in something that had never happened. Do you want to know what was salvation for them ? " The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statues, and do which is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. " [Ezekiel 18: 20-22] " Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? " [Ezekiel 18 : 30 - 31] Surely we can see for them Salvation lies in repentance and doing things which is lawful and right. This has been the case from the beginning of Man, Remember when Adam and Eve were punished for eating the forbidden Apple, what did they do when they were sent down to earth ? They repent and live life in a righteous way.... So why would that change now ? Now where do you think Salvation lies ?

Salvation comes through Jesus Christ who bore our sins.

Brother, What do you mean by Jesus Christ bore our sins ? When God says Son is not responsible for Father's sin nor Father will be responsible for Son's sin.It clearly mean each one will be responsible for their own sins and each will be judged according to their deeds on the judgement day. So do you think God is responsible for our sin so that He sent His only begotten Son [Astagfirullah] to die for our sin ? Common brother, think over it... Who is responsible for our sins, it should be us alone, isn't it or should it be God?

Adam was the head of his house, so when he allowed Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, sin came upon him because he was responsible for his wife. That is why Jesus had to be born of a virgin, because sin is from man, not woman. We all have human fathers and human mothers, so sin is in us all. The offering we give to God for forgiveness for our sins has to be perfect. We are not and can never be perfect; but Jesus who is perfect, was willing to take on our sins so that we would be completely forgive of our sins. God was willing to give His Son as a perfect sacrifice for us. It was God's mercy, love, and grace that has given us freedom from sin. Those who have not accepted this gift from God and made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior will have to account for their sins. Those of us who have accepted God's gift of salvation through Christ have nothing to confess other than Christ crucified.

In my opinion, salvation can be achieved simply by doing the laws of God. Be good in everything you do and dealings. Love everyone including your enemy. Be nice to people and do not sin. Everything that God wants us to be to get the promised life everlasting. I think this is the very thing that every man should do to have salvation.

Yes indeed Salvation lies in obeying God's laws. Live the Life according to which He has instructed us to through His Prophet.

We can not be saved by following God's laws as salvation is free. We keep his commandments because it is a showing of our love for him. We know he knows what is best for us.

Salvation lies in human walking in God's way and away from the path of Satan, .. That follows the teachings of God in the move away from the taboo .. And closer to God, to obey him and a lot of prayers, alms and deal with people in a good way and keep their money , not to hurt one and a chaste of the tongue .. And he must repent to God whenever committed a sin , God will forgive him and accept him .
