looking at the trends of famine in Africa, i noticed that it happens almost all time only to be helped by the west. I believe Africa can fix its problem by application of technology. Africa has the ability feed africa.

Yes you are absolutely right, famine can be easily handled if right type of technologies are introduced in the farming methods, the farms have to be watered on a daily basis and modern techniques of farming has to be introduced only then the farmers wont be depending on any other for the help.
