Recently, I pursue my masteral degree major in mathematics. But my course is Bachelor of Science in statistics. I am confuse if I will transfer to fisheries since there are scholarships offered. And to think that there are subjects that is connected with statistics. Until now, I have no fix decision because I still weigh which will be more advantageous. If I pursue masteral in mathematics, I only need one year to finish it, but there is no scholarship offered. So, I need to finance my schooling. But if I transfer to fisheries, there are scholarships offered but it will took me to two years to finish. Which could be the better option?

Hi jngemini07. In my opinion, your current course has more future in the Philippines than Fisheries. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think it is worth choosing a course because of available scholarships but find yourself struggling to look for a job in the future because it is not in demand. I would rather be a working student and finance my 1 year left of schooling with the course Masteral Degree major in Mathematics. This course, in my opinion, has a wider area or spectrum than Fisheries. Hope you will come up with the best decision for your future. All the best.
