I slept for 6 hours today...

My husband arrived here in the hospital around 6 in the morning today, he already bought breakfast and we ate together. After than he asked me to get some rest so that I can regain my strength. I slept for almost 6 hours straight and my husband did not disturbed, he look after to his father while I am sleeping. Now that I am awake and ready to watch his father again it's time for him to sleep and get some rest too because he will going to work this evening. Now I just participate here in mylot while my FIL and husband both sleeping. Have a good day!

It's hard to sleep in the hospital. Nurses would come every now and then to check on the patient.
So much so, that when a reliever comes, to go home just to catch a sleep will be most welcomed.
So, what happened to your FIL?

That's the problem when there's two of you only, who alternates in taking care of the family's patient.
I hope he will be alright soon, so you can have your 8 hour sleep.

His doing fine, for the meantime were staying here in hotel near to our house while fixing the room of my FIL. Today I have a 7 hour straight sleep because my husband took care of his father and they did not disturb me but now they both sleeping like a baby. thanks

How i wish i could a reliever aside from my husband where I can have a 8 hours sleep or stretch my body even for a while. My FIL had his heart bypass last monday and since last friday night he had some episodes of loss of consciousness when coughing, good thing since yesterday he became stable and hoping he will get better soon. Thanks

I know it's hard to sleep when you know you have to look after somebody. It is good that you have your husband available to help you.

you are nice person and its really nice that you care his father,but also please care your health too,sleeping is so important for our body,
i dont think 6 hours is less,i think its enough and you can get your energy back so youcan start a better day,

Your right but sleeping is so important that;s why i do my best to take a nap when i get chance and when my husband is around to take charge in taking care of my father in law. Thanks
