what do you think should the Master Blaster had retired from the Test matches after the triumphant 4-0 whitewash against the Australians. Or should he complete the landmark of 200 tests in South Africa which is almost after an year and retire. For me as all fans, he should continue playing as long as he can.. What do you think, is he waiting for 200 tests and retire or not ?

I think let that decision left to him only. Because he only knows when it is right time for him to retire. He did it in ODIs too. Therefore he knows what and when to do. Anyway I am sure if he retires that will be a very huge for the world. May be we cannot be able to witness another man like this. Therefore I wish to see him for some more years,as long as he can.

I also think he should retire cricket when he wishes and I think most probably he will get into form very quickly.

Yes, I too think that he is wise enough for taking right decision. So, let us not talk much about this and leave to Dhoni, Sachin and the boys.

Though he has not retired but I want him to retire so that a new young player can get the experience of foreign conditions. He has played enough cricket and broke all the records. Let youngster too get a chance to play for India.

I don't see him boarding that flight to Johannesburg later this year. He might as well make way for Sehwag. Sehwag will fight back but he can't fit in at no1 or no.2.

I think Sachin Tendulkar should not retire ODI or test cricket. I think he should have continued to play as he is a good player of cricket and can win matches alone when he in good form.

In my view Sachin has achieved what ever aims and dreams he has in cricket. He has seen India lose 4-0 in away test series and seen beating Australia 4-0 in India in recent test series. I do not care whether he retire or not, I would like to see Sachin be with team India and share his experience with new generation of cricketers as mentor or coach what ever BCCI gives him a position in the India team. As a player at his age doing his best, so how many days he continue we never know. He might surprisingly retire some day. But I am looking forward to him as coach for India team if he is interested. I do not think Sachin is waiting to play his 200 test and then retire. Even if he thinks like that I have not problem with it. Because Sachin has born to play cricket, so, he should do it until his energy levels are there.

Sachin wants to play tests and the ultimate test is waiting for him in South Africa later this year. Seeing his current form and his dismal performances in England and Australia last year, I doubt if he will board that flight to Johannesburg. In that case that spot should go to Sehwag, who will be needed to shore up India's batting strength in the middle order, at least till such time the Kohlis, Vijays, Dhawans and Pujaras settle down, particularly when playing abroad. A fit Sehwag batting at no.5, may just be the ingredient that will take India back to no.1 spot in test cricket. He was mainly instrumental in taking India to no.1 place in the past and he can do it again.

It is difficult to say whats in his mind. yet, on the ground, it does looks that he is probably waiting for his 200th test. May be, he has set some parameter like 1 year more or 2 years more, or something similar. We will have to wait and watch on this.
