Did you go to visit Suriname in South America?

I plan to go to visit Suriname and i dunno about the food and if people are racist there? I ask just because I am Canadian but my friend is Dutch and Suriname is an old colony of Netherlands, we don't want racist problems when visiting there...

I hope that you will visit Suriname and have a wonderful time there. I am sure that they won't be racist to you. I have been to two trips to wonderful South America. I went to Colombia in 2011. Last year I went to Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay.
