I was wondering where did Saudi Arabia get their source of water. They have plenty of crude oil and because of that they have a good economy. Big Countries like US, Canada, Australia, Europe and some countries in Asia buy or trade crude oil from them. I heard that in Saudi Arabia, water is expensive than crude oil. So i came up with a question, "What if some countries trade water to crude oil of Saudi? or " Is it possible that the country they allowed to trade water with them can possibly have good economy too?"

Saudi Arabia has a good economy because all country in the world needs crude oil from the country for their source of energy, but most of country in the world have enough source of water but lack of source of crude oil. I think crude oil and water so different...I never seen crude oil fall from the sky but every day water fall from the sky...Crude oil and water have different economic value. but i respect with your idea...have nice day

They will make a very good trade as Saudi Arabia is in dessert so it’s hard to look for fresh

Sounds like a worthwhile idea to me. Basically all those countries are in the dessert and lack clean, fresh and pure water. Problem is, it's all about the politics and what we as a country are willing to part with. Some countries just don't want to share their precious commodities United States included (politicians).

Good idea, but I doubt it would happen in near future. Main reason is that the people who are handling the country (namely, politician) need to take initiative in doing business like this. And let be honest, most of the politicians nowadays are doing things that would only favor them and their family first.
