How to make a computer run on its own power.

Hi, I am a science student and want to make a project for my examination, so I decided to make a computer which can run on its own power. You should't have to put a plug on the circuit. It should be 100% green or pollution free. so my question is " is that passible". If yes so how or if no then why.

I believe it can be done, I think you need a battery to store your power which will be used for your computer. For example if you want to used a solar energy, you need solar panels which is connected to your battery, then the battery will charge your computer. There are many ways, hopefully you can find something that interest you.

You right. It is possible but not convenient.

well this is a good idea and I also think about that but the problem is its need a open place where sunlight is avaliable and its not practical because of the space it take to install a solar panel and there are also few other problems with solar energy.

Ok what about using the own heat of the computer. I know its to small but I wonder If its make a small amount of energy to control the mouse or the keyboard. what you think about that.

If we could perfect energy efficiency, it could be possible, but as of right now, our race hasn't managed to quite figure that out. Hopefully soon enough we do :)

Yes it is possible i think.. You can use electric generator to generate currents by converting kinetic energy from maybe windmill or water movement or pedal rotation. You remember shake flashlight? It also don't need battery, just current from electromagnetic induction and it applied Faraday law... So its not possible, but maybe the current maybe isnt very stable the kinetic energy must be continuously supplied...

From where a computer is going to get the power then? Not possible unless you make a mini high power solar panels or something that can be placed inside a computer.

Hi! This is possible . First thing, We cannot use solar panels as it would require solar panels and could only operate outdoors and naturally where there is sun there is heat and you don't want to heat up your laptop. so solar power is off the charts. Second thing, we cannot attach a mini hydro electric power station, or wind mill to a laptop and carry it whereever we want...so this is also not a good idea. So,Remember I said it is possible. Yes but it requires complex electrical circuits. The concept is that you have a battery charged in your laptop and your using it but it gets exhausted after sometime. Well we can use a generator which absorbs some of the rpm from fans and motors in your laptop and by using step Up transformer we could use this power to recharge the battery. By this way we are creating a loop of electricity flow inside the laptop itself. But the problem is only with stepping up the generator's output.

good idea, but I do not understand. so I
