The fruit was overripe already

For $1.50, I bought a pineapple. By judging on the color of the skin which is somewhat yellow green, I will say that it was just ripe. So I said to the seller of the fruit to peel the skin off the pineapple. And looks pretty okay. But when I sliced the fruit into small pieces that the fruit is more ripe on the center. But still the fruit is still somewhat okay despite that. So I still enjoy eating it. I still half of the fruit left. I will just eat the rest of the fruit tomorrow.

I had to buy a pineapple that was still a little green, it's okay though, they ripen up just like a banana. Unfortunately, fruit is better when picked ripe off the vine, but to often they have to be picked before they are ripe so they can be shipped to other places where that particular fruit isn't grown, so we miss out on all those micro-nutrients. My pineapple is ripe now and I'll be cutting it up today. I love the sweetness of pineapple :)
