Do you, on occasion, experience difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early and finding yourself unable to fall back asleep? This has been my problem for the last one week. Is there some thing wrong with me?

Oh join the club. I don't think anything is wrong with you. Its just your bodies clock may be off or you are overly tired. Many times I find it hard to fall asleep because I have something on my mind and I can't shut it down. Other times I have nothing bothering me but I still can't shut my brain off to go to sleep. The best is I'm watching TV and I'm falling asleep. I then decide let me go to bed because I can't stay awake. I go to bed then I'm wide awake. Then there are times I will go to bed about 2 in the morning and will be awake by 7:30 or 8am. Now I can't go back to sleep. I think there are alot of people with the same exact problems. Now lately what I do to fall asleep and stay asleep is read before I shut the light out. Once I'm reading and get to at least the 5th or 6th page my eyes are closing and it seems to be working for me. "They" also say that you need to program your body to go to sleep at the same time every night and wake up at the same time each morning.
