another wasted day

April 5, 2013 9:07pm CST
I had such good intentions today, like most days. As my day is ending I look back annoyed. I did not accomplish half of what I wanted to do. This feels familiar because it happens so often. I don't even look forward to tomorrow because I know it will be the same. I am tired and don't feel like doing anything right now. I'm sure in the morning I will be just as annoyed that instead of getting stuff done now I decided to relax.

I feel the same for the past week. After spending a vacation for almost two months I feel so lazy to do my usual daily routine. I feel like having this vacation hang-over and wanting for more (duh) I am trying to get off my feet- do my usual routine (household chores and online earnings)- but too lazy to a thing. I think I really need to do something to break the ice.

Me to. I feel like I'm in a never ending rut. I need something to chande the dull routine up. Maybe then I would have like a second wind, a new attitude and energy about things.

Well today I was a bit lazy myself, which is really not like me. I guess I overdid it yesterday with the yard work and I felt like taking an easy today. However, tomorrow I will be finishing the laundry and cleaning the entire house and cooking. So I will be very busy and I just hope I have the energy to do it all. I love when I wake up with energy to burn and I keep on going like the energy bunny.

Time management is a very important thing that should learn if we want to accomplish things and make the most of our day. Most of the time we confused of things that are urgent as important. We should always rank he things that we are going to do. The important things should be our priority rather than the urgent ones. Have a wonderful day!

It's the same for me. I even make a to-do list for all the good it can do to me. While it proves to be a helpful tool, it can also be depressing looking that I have a lot more tasks undone. I have nobody to blame but myself anyway, since I am procrastinating, or I let myself be distracted, or I am too shy to say no to some people who request me to do something for them.

This is something that happens frequently to me too. You know trying to do stuff on that day, but then you seem to feel tired and not do anything that day. Well my way to fight this problem is to make a small task for that day. So, if it's small task, I usually manage to do it. I set goals like say "I am going to program this function in my program today." And I do it. Basically it's a matter of your will, which should be trained, so that it would work for you, not against you.

When I get left with so little time, I just think of what the great Gandalf said: "..all we need to do is decide what we should do with the time given to us.." ..or something like that. Time is precious no matter how you put it. We need to make use of it wisely, in my opinion. So if looking back on the things that you've done makes you unproductive, then don't look back. Stop asking yourself "*Why* did I only finish this much?" and start asking yourself "*How* can I finish more with this amount of time left?"

I think we have something in common.... that is the lack of focus and passion to concentrate and finish things up... hehehehehe! It happens to me nowadays... maybe like me you are very distracted... maybe you have a lots of things in your head just like me that need to sort out... hehehehehehe believe me it is one of the great cost why we are having this kind of day. Have a great day... hope we can make our days productive all the time! God bless you!

I could relate to that, but as you said sometimes we need to relax once in a while when days get so frustrating. I needed a week off away from my usual day-to-day routine and am hoping to have more smooth and relaxed days ahead when I get back. God bless

I hope that you will be able to relax tonight and get things done in the morning. I have felt that way about things as well. It often seems we do not have enough time in the day to get everything done. I hope it all works out for you.

I know how you feel, I feel like that most days. I want to do so much and never feel like I get anything done! It is frustrating... I hope tomorrow will be a better day for you. :)
