What are the midical uses of curry leaf?....

All the families of India are generally use curry leaf in their dishes... I don't know the actual reason for that the most of the people are very fond of curry leaf... I personally not interested to use frequently... Is there any medical benefit of using it?....

Not sure about curry leaf, but the turmeric that is often used in curries has anti-inflammatory properties.

It is good to lower blood pressure and good for stomach problems also.It gives a good flavor to the curry when you use it to season the gravy for the curry.

It is use for cooking because of its aroma. Curry leaf is rich in Vitamin A and calcium, it also contains good amounts of Amino acids, it is also good in quick digestion, it also prevents deposition of fat in various parts of the body and good thing is it controls blood sugar levels in a diabetic patient. Curry leaf is good for us because our blood line has diabetic illness.

Hi Gamyam I have heard curry has many benefit's to preventing some cancers. Curry I have also heard can ward off colds, and is good for the respiratory system. I also use turmeric which is good to prevent cancer as well.

Hi, We have curry powder, yellow in color used mostly to cook chicken meat, pork, or beef, mostly chicken. I don't have any information about its medical uses other than for seasoning as it is considered one of the food spices like onions or garlic. Garlic is believed to have antibacterial properties and can lower blood pressure like lemon grass, another aromatic herb. There are variations to recipes with curry leaves such as adding coconut milk and red hot peppers, it add more taste to chicken and other meat products.

From what i read, there are a lot of benefits from curry leaves, like eating curry leaves can improve eye sight, preventing cataract, eating few leaves a day can lose weight, its good for hair growth, and many other benefits.

Two Benefits which i know. One it is very good for digestion related problem. Second it is also very good for skin. There must be many benefits for using Curry Leafs.
