New neighbors porch is a hot mess....

right out of Sanford and Son! I thought it was bad before, with a giant swing, some containers for mixing mortar in, and a rusty hibachi. It's now a thousand times WORSE!!! There's a. Full size refrigerator outside-the apartment came with one. There's what appears to be wooden furniture for inside, like folding end tables. There's tarps, and now it appears there is a compressor or generator out there. I don't get why they can't ask about the basement storage, or rent a place to store things in! It looks so trashy-and the one neighbor told me she planned to grow vegetables there! It's embarrassing-we don't live in the best neighborhood BUT no one here leaves their porch looking like that (except the man who lives a few blocks away-and I think he might be a hoarder).

I have a neighbor like that too... It looks they have a whole house full of furniture on their porch! Not something nice to look at that is for sure. We have some things on our porch, a couple kids chairs for them to sit on when their out there, my husbands one box of tools and an easel for the kids to color on while their outside with their chalk. But it doesn't look trashy either...

The key is to NOT have it look trashy! I can see leaving tools outside-my dad used to keep them in his truck, or in the utility room. They were always out of sight though! The neighbors porch does look trashy though!

The problem with my house is we have NO attic, NO shed, NO garage, NO basement, NO storage room-No storage AT All! I hate it. And we darn sure cannot afford a storage unit every month since we are not rich and have enough bills to pay... So, right now I am stuck looking at his tool box on my porch until one day we can afford to buy a shed for the yard...

Oh yeah and he is NOT putting those filthy tools in my mini van-NOT happening! Lol. He doesn't have a work truck anymore so there is literally no where to put them!

OMG, that sounds terrible and I don't care what kind of neighborhood it is. That's awful. Did they buy this house? Do you think maybe this will be stuff they want to throw away? If not, I'd call the city on themaf. People like that make the neighborhood bad, the neighborhoods don't start out like that. And this is all on his porch and around the porch?..good grief.

They rent, same as us. But there are homes in the area that are owner-occupied, and I'm sure that they're not too thrilled either! I can't wait till we move-I never had neighbors so close. And the worst thing I ever saw outside was the neighbor across the street at our last place permitted one of his employees to urinate behind his garage-and I happened to be cleaning the window at the time-YUCK!

Are you glad you cleaned your window now?..yuk! Maybe you can contact the landlord and have him tell them to clean up the mess. And, sometimes if you call city hall and make a complaint, they will give them so many days to clean up the garbage too. I feel so bad for you...it would drive me nuts.

I can just imagine what their apartment looks like inside! They also have two large dogs-ours is only 30 pounds, significantly smaller, but he still gets in the way!

I don't know! Today I noticed that the compressor is gone-replaced by a washing machine! It's bad enough that they purposely keep their truck right out front all day, every day-we live on a public street! I think I'll ask to wash my clothes there-we have no washer and I can't carry our laundry up or down the street! They're not handicapped even.

that's awful, imagine having to see such mess everyday? and to think of the creatures that could be dwelling on those junks the mice, roaches and who knows what other creatures live there too, are living so close to you. You have to be vigilant about it, I mean i'm sure other neighbors of yours are well aware of that particular neighbor of yours. Call for a meeting you have the right to at least approach them, if that's no use, you should rather move as soon as possible.

They moved the refrigerator-not sure where it went. Their wooden furniture (I think it was a dining room table) is outside-and we got rain last night and tonight-it's sitting in water. If I see them, I'll ask if they intend to keep it like that-last I was told, they were looking for storage. As for moving, we're stuck in the area for another year. After that, I intend to move, whether my boyfriend wants to or not!
