Hi and Welcome Well I know Oatmeal cookies can be a very crisp cookie and chocolate chip it all depends on the recipe you use and how long sometimes a recipe will call for an extra 5 to 10 minutes if you want a crisper cookie. Hope this helps.

To make a perfectly crisp cookie you'll want to make sure you're using white sugar and not brown sugar or honey. Also be sure to use butter and not margarine or any other substitute for butter (I like using unsalted butter). I've also heard using an egg white instead of the whole egg helps cookies be crispy. Substitute 2 egg whites for every 1 egg called for in the recipe. One more thing, let your cookies cool for about 3-5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Enjoy!

It depends on which type of cookie. In general use plain flour, not self raising and give them a little longer in the oven, or raise the oven temperature about 10%'s.
