I just can't bring myself to put it on or have time to watch a "mommy movies." I'm either cleaning, working, or playing with my son. Not that any of those are bad things. I love my life ! But I've had the songs from the movie stuck in my head for a good week now. Hmm... what to do?

Music of the Night is probably the best song... and the longest.

You can watch the Phantom of the Opera movies.. It is just less than 2 hours, quite short so you can take a 2 hour break. There are a lot of adaptations there, and some are even very good.

I've only seen the 2005 make of it, but i'd love to look into the other makes. My son is a booger though, if i decide to put on a "mommy movie" he'll get up and turn it off. I work from home and do house chores, etc, while he's at school so I'm usually too busy to just sit and watch. He has a visit with his dad this weekend, so I'm going to get my movie time in then.

Phantom of the Opera is one of my favorite plays (I saw it like 3 times as a kid!) and the movie is totally worth it! I agree also, the songs are beautiful aren't they? Could you have someone watch your son for a few hours while you take a evening or afternoon for yourself? Make some popcorn, eat some ice cream, and veg out!

I haven't seen the play, but i'd love to. The songs really are beautiful. My sister got me hooked on the movie. My son is going to visit his dad this weekend, so i should have time to watch it then. :)
