Deleting Direct Referrals

Philippines
April 9, 2013 6:22pm CST
I just noticed that I have so much direct referrals yet a big chunk are inactive. So I decided to just delete them under my account because they are just flooding my referral section. I also wanted to somehow look after my active referrals and help them earn and be more active here. What do you think?

I didn't know that you made points from referrals.

Then your missing a lot of earnings there for not having any referral :). I think you should try to invite your friends or anyone you know who wants to participate here and earn money.

Hi ken! Well, at least you were able to get more referrals. Like how many do you have? I think they will not affect you even if they are not active for now. They might decide to come back and be active again. Have a nice day!

I think I have more than 20 direct referrals but among those referrals, there were just about 5 active so I decided to delete those that are not active.

For me, just let it be there as long as it doesn't affect your account, who might knows, they get active again. I have inactive referrals, but i don't delete them and i don't have a plan to delete them.

I think the same way. Just leave them there. Maybe a year from now.. they might come back here. Never know...

I have never been able to get referrals for mylot as I mostly know people who talk in Spanish. How dis you get your referrals? I have referrals in other sites and I do that by trading links.

There are some referrals who just signed up for the sake of joining. Because some thought it's very easy to earn online. And there are others who are active at first and then stop and comes back on their own if they have free time again. Most of us have regular jobs and can be active only if they have free time to spare. I guess, you know that it's very hard to get or convince others to join in our earning sites. Your efforts inviting them to join would be a waste if you deleted them. Let's say, they get active on the coming days you would not get any commision once you deleted them. Anyway, it's your choice.

I have seen many my lot members come back here after 5-6-7 even 12 months gone. if your ref. come back you are not going to earn off them. Id say just leave them there.

I think you are trying to point out members who have actually posted something and became active for quite a while and then decided to stop. As for those that I have deleted, they did not made any post at all as in completely ZERO. My assumptions would be that those persons are just looking for some routinary tasks where they can earn instead of stimulating their brains to make some comments

Some people may be inactive for a time but they would think of coming back yet again. Im thinking of you delete them now that should be okay but what if your inactive referrals decided to come back to mylot then what should happen then is that you will never earn from them any more.

I know I have left and been unactive for spurts here and there, sometimes a month..sometimes 6 months at a time or so but then found time and came back. I don't have nearly as many referrals though.

I wish I had many refferals- I have three..one was active for about two years than dropped off- the other two...well they never posted one thing :( I would love to get active referrals but I think mylot confuses newcomers a bit. And most people expect to actually EARN quickly- when they don't...they lose patience and move on. I personally am the type of person that spends day in and day out online. Im required to be online for my day job (here right now and YES I double dip a bit because I mylot from my job ) And when im home I spend time on site like facebook- so my theory is - if im going to be online anyway...why not spend time on a site that I would earn some extra change at- instead of making Mark Zuckerberg more rich for just utilizing facebook and getting nothing out of it. Personally facebook has turned into a drama starter for me and many others. It is not blamed for ruining relationships and friendships. So mylot is the way to go for me.

I have many referrals and the majority are inactive but I never ever think of delelting them. I see so many people return to myLot after years and maybe one day my inactive referrals will wake up too. Indeed I had one who joined many years ago and when he joined I sent him a welcome PM message but he never responded - until TWO years later Now he is active again when he is not studying. If I had delted him from my list he would no longer have been my referral and I would probably not have had fun with him when he returned either. When he came back I started a discussion about it too: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2533865.aspx

I think that it would be a good thing to do. What's the use of keeping them when they have obviously become inactive which means uninterested, right?

The fact that you have a big chunk of referrals is already amazed me, even they aren't active. Well, none of my few referrals are active, and I never consider to delete them from my referral section. Since it's only a few, at least it's could being a candy for my eyes..
