Smoking

I used to smoke a long time ago. I didn't inhale. At that time, I had never heard of people getting cancer from smoking, but I stopped. Whenever I see that ad on T.V. of that woman smoking through the hole in her neck because she has lung cancer, it makes me sick. I think that ad should be able to stop most people from ever smoking again. If I was in the cigarette business I would feel so guilty. I don't care how much money I was making. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Actually I don't want to spoil my day today with talking about health. I am on a super way of eating right now and what I eat and when I eat. It was not for weight loss although I lost about ten pounds in a very short while. It was for contracting Parkinsons. My Parkinsons is mild but it is the medication that is the culprit most of the time. Have any of you had symptoms of Parkinsons like shaking and tremoring an a few weeks later they have virtually stopped? I wonder what the neurosurgeons say about this. It has not stopped completely but there are NO shaking or tremoring symptoms. What do you say about this?

It's good to know that you have stop smoking already. Smoking is really not good it doesn't only affect the smoker him/herself but all the people who is around him or her. There is a high prevalence of second hand smoking all over the world. That is why even those who have not smoked even.once in their lives will also have the same risk of acquiring cancers or respiratory problems especially when one is living in the same room with a chain-smoker.

I don't blame you at all for feeling the way you do. Breathing smoke into your lungs is a filthy, dangerous habit. How do I know? I used to smoke. What was the payback? After 20 years of smoking I got Parkinsons from all the toxicity in my body and all that sitting behind the computer screen for so many years. We are the engineers of our own misfortune. Now that I am clean for a year I cannot imagine I smoked.
