It was my first time to visit the city of Ormoc in the Visayas. It was a long trip. I got off a plane to get to the Tacloban airport and a long travel by land for hours to get to my destination. It was worth it though i felt that I spent the whole day travelling. It was a good consolation getting away from the busy streets of Manila. Life in Ormoc is just simple though I can say that there are so many big houses and buildings there already. I love their tricycle which is very unusual to the classic tricycle i see in Manila. It's like a small jeepney version of a tricycle. I had the chance to visit Mcarthur's landing site with his statues there still erected in bronze. I happened to see the magnificent San Juanico bridge which connects Samar to Leyte. It was also the first time that I had tried cable car in Agas-Agas bridge. The beach that we visited there was really magnificent! The shoreline was full of fine rocks and the water was clear. I wish I can go back there with the whole family with me. I bet that the kids would love it.

Hello there cherigucchi! I am so happy that you were able to visit our place, I am from Tacloban City. I had been to Ormoc but I haven't stayed there for so long. Good for you that you were able to travel in Agas-Agas bridge. I wonder what beach did you visit. Seriously, I haven't totally explored Leyte, but it's in my bucket list to explore first our region before any other place.

It's a resort in Ormoc. It was a very beautiful place. First time i saw a shoreline full of fine stones. It is called baybayon rsort. I hope you explore Leyte. I did have a blast there visiting McArthur Park, stepped on the great San Juanico bridge and had my first ride in the cable car in Agas-agas. Somebody told us that it is already one hop away from Bohol!!
