Yes its true, specially if the location of the house is in the city area, there are many things to consider of your going to buy a house, you must consider the location and accessibility.

To buy a house in a metropolitan city, the housing price is extremely high in our country. Even in some small cities, the price is too high for the majority of people to get one. It is almost a lifetime strive to get a new house nowadays for its high price. Before 2008, the housing price was comparatively acceptable to us and it was much easier to pay off all the loans from the bank when buying a house. Now it seems that the housing price is decreasing, but not much, still unacceptable to the majority...Thanks for the discussion. Take care.

Yes housing prices are really unacceptable these days and we can not buy a good house without taking a loan and if we take loan then it is really difficult to pay that so overall it is a struggle for a life time if we buy a house in metropolitan cities, Even houses are costly everywhere even if it is a metropolitan city or small city but even the house in small cities are little bit acceptable...

Hi, We were staying in Alibag before. I have my own house there. We have shifted to Pune for staying with my son together. We want to buy a house here. But prices are very high. I have to sell my previous house. But prices of house in Pune are more than in Alibag. So my son is going to take loan from bank. It is very difficult for the middle class people to purchase a house in metro city.

Yes,it is. It is very difficult to buy a house even if the place is little developed keep aside a metros. There are several which comes to middle class person before she/he buys a house as he/she would be putting all his hard earn money in that house.

To me it's not worth it to buy a house. Yes it would be great to be able to say I own a house. But with our wages being so low and it being hard enough to live pay check to pay check it's not worth it. At least with renting my home if something breaks I just have to phone the landlord. I have 3 bedrooms, a basement and a fenced in back yard. I swear I am never moving again :) A though I wish I could live in the country.
