I went to Spanish evening classes in 2008. I heard Spanish spoken in Central America in 2006. It was a beginners course and I really enjoyed it. I was pregnant with my daughter at that time from October 2008 to June 2009. Good luck catching up with the Spanish that you have missed.

A class can be catched up, if you go and talk to another student. Probably the fist class was just about ways to say helllo and goodbye. But check with someone who went to the first class.
