Lost 1.6lbs last week!

So I am very happy and proud to say that I lost 1.6 pounds last week and I am now seeing a new number on the scale that I haven't seen in awhile, which is really nice. I did it by staying active just around the house (mainly jumping jacks), eating healthy, and drinking lots of green tea and water. My little accomplishment however was ruined by somebody today. I was so happy that I told them about it (which I never do...) and she was like, "Well why haven't you lost more, my friend lost 65lbs on that and they were chubby, are you cheating?" In my head I was like, excuse me? No I haven't been cheating! I just happen to not be as active as I should be... which is interesting because I do at least 500 jumping jacks a day (I get up and move around a lot because my job consists at being at a computer) and I walk for at least 2.5hrs every Wednesday and Friday. Besides... her friend who lost weight probably had a lot of fat on her, I am built because I have been playing soccer for 15 years... I have muscle, so part of my weight number needs to account for that... I probably have close to 20lbs that I want to lose. Made me incredibly mad and sad. People lose weight at different intervals, some people take longer... yes I understand I have only lost 4lbs in like 3 months... I know that is nothing... but at least I have lost and not gained! At least I am still working at it. *sigh*

first of all congratulations! I am trying to gain weight. I am a hard gainer and I want to gain weight. Good for you because you were able to to achieve your target. For me, nothing happened for my weight gain goal. I tried to eat much but it seems my stomach is upset easily. I am on fish oil and multivitamins as they say this improves appetite and over all health

Thank you! Oh, why do you want to gain weight? Have you gone to the doctors to see why your stomach gets upset so often? I know my boyfriend has awful acid reflux and because of that some things like coffee, and ice cream bug his stomach. He doesn't seem to gain any weight either.... no matter how much he eats, whether it be good or bad. Have you tried using protein powder/shakes and working out?

You are right, it depends on individual constitution. Never mind what the other person's saying. If only you are working hard on this and get progress, then you can finally success.

Thank you. I am working towards a goal slowly but surely, and each week I manage to make healthier decisions and work harder at my goal. I will get there. It shouldn't matter how long it takes as long as I reach it.
