Inconsistencies in The Big Bang Theory

Sometimes there are inconsistencies in The Big Bang Theory. I have been watching a lot of reruns that are on everyday here so some of my problems in this area maybe because I have seen episodes out of their original order. One where the order doesn't really matter that much is about Leonard's birthday. They had a whole episode about him never having had a birthday party and Penny wanting to throw him one. Howard was supposed to keep Leonard away while the others set up the surprise party. But in a last ditch effort to keep Leonard away, Howard ate some peanuts which he is allergic to and they were late. But in another episode where Leonard went to a party at Will Wheaton's house and was negotiating with Brent Spiner(Data on Star Trek) for a Data action figure or something, the final deal included that Spiner would attend one of Leonard's birthday parties. So why would Leonard put that in the deal when he doesn't have birthday parties. Then there is how picky Sheldon is about his spot on the sofa but doesn't seem to have a problem in his office even after he shares it with Raj and Raj gets a huge desk that means Sheldon's is located in a different place. Sure they argue about everything but Sheldon doesn't go into anything about it not being in the best spot in the office for heat in the winter and cool in the summer, etc. like he does with his spot on the sofa. He is just upset over the size of Raj's desk. Just a couple of examples.

I think the fact that Leonard doesn't have birthday parties is the point...meaning, Spiner won't be coming to Leonards birthday party. As for Sheldon's "spot", this refers to his personal, at home environment which he has total control over. That is not the case in an office situation surely? Come on stealthy, you can do better than that.

He has acted that way in other places. For instance in Penny's apartment she asked him to sit down for some reason and he went all around the room trying chairs and not even making it all the way down in most before saying they weren't right. He finally chose a green chair as being good until Penny told him she had found it on the curb. The office is his space until he includes Raj as working for him. Raj wants a desk and Sheldon says it isn't in the budget and at lunch Raj say what if he buy his own and the others support him but then after he gets, Sheldon enters the office and Raj's desk is huge and totally displaces Sheldon's desk. He doesn't like that but just because it is so big and not because he has been moved to where the environment in the office is different which is what he should have objected to if he was to be in line with his behavior at his own place and Penny's apartment. Leonard would not have include Spiner coming to one of his birthday parties if it was the point. He thought Spiner was asking too much money for the action figure but said he would agree to it if Spiner would come to his birthday party.

The first one I noticed was when in later episodes they questioned whether Sheldon was gay or straight. Well, in the first episode ever they told Penny they were two heterosexual guys. I guess later they wanted to make it a plot point.

Also, how cool is it that Bob Newhart is going to guest star next month?

The episode where Penny tries to throw Leonard his first birthday party is very early in the series Leonard's parents never did anything for him on his birthday by the time Leonard meets Data he has had a few parties...thanks in large part to Penny Sheldon did not want to share an office with Raj at all.At work Sheldon's Office is his spot Raj's large desk is taking up too much space in that spot there are small Inconsistencies in The Big Bang Theory...as there are in many long running shows...but these are not examples of them I think the family trees of Leonard, Sheldon and Penny are changed a bit as the series goes on..as in Penny will say in one episode she has a brother..but later sh is an only child...but this dos not rally matter because out of the 3 of them w have only very met Sheldon's twin sister and that only happens once that I know of
