I Figured Out Why People Here Have Trouble On Facebook

it's because most people here are so innocent minded and conservative. when i want to read unpopular and unpolitically correct thoughts, i go to facebook. i want to read a spicy conversation, i go to facebook. some people here probably feel intimidated by the facebook crowd. i love it over there. it is refreshing to get away from the politically correct, innocent, and conservative environment every now and again.....lol. and i KNOW this thought probably won't be popular, but it's as far as i can go here in this crowd.

To each his own. One thing is, many on facebook post lies, or even things to upset or hurt others. If you like that great... i just dont care for that stuff.

it's all harmless to me, because i don't post anything up personal online, no pics...nothing. so, i sit back and get to have fun watching others trip out sometimes. yes, i must admit. it's boring just talking about the weather or someone's grocery list all the time. i like some action sometimes.

I am intimidated by very little. I think one of the things I like about Facebook is the games and comments of all kinds on there. I also think that several of the members here on Mylot are older(as in senior citizens) and were born in a time when people were mannerly and polite and when they come across the 'unpopular and unpolitically correct thoughts' and 'spicy conversation' they get a little unearthed. And the truth isn't always popular.

I have a small friend list on Facebook by choice. Certain things I don't want to see and will delete anyone that sends me any kind of racy photo. I'll admit more than half of my friend list are conservative and lead a quiet life. There isn't anything wrong with my quiet hard working lifestyle. I think Facebook is a good way to enjoy time with friends and family. I'm happy finding freebies and have won a few contests on Facebook.

I understand where you are coming from. Facebook is entertaining. Even with the drama, judging, and politics it is still entertaining. It is probably what makes it entertaining. You get to see what people think, say, and possibly read about what is going on in their life. I plan to write less on Facebook. Mainly because I want to become more private. I don't think I should be posting so much about my life, even if they are family and friends. Not for awhile at least. If people really want to know then they can call or have a chat with me instead of just reading updates. I know many people who have a Facebook but don't post that often. It's not a requirement, so why do it so often? About the politics. My friend and I actually got into an argument about politics on Facebook. I understand that we have difference of opinions but that is kind of why we were arguing. We couldn't agree with each other on anything. She thought she was right, and I thought I was right. When I even said "lets agree to disagree" she kept the argument going. Occasionally I see post from her about politics and I just ignore them and don't get involved. I have to admit this last election really was something people were buzzing about. I saw posts left and right about the election. So you can imagine how I felt because I don't like politics. I considered not checking Facebook until the election was over. I even considered deleting my account until it was over. Everyone talking, arguing, and not agreeing on it....it was just too much. Then when I was around these people in person they would bring it up again. By the way I did post a few things but I never had any conversations except with the one friend. I don't care that people disagree with my opinions, but I don't have to agree with theirs. I think this the problem. I don't like politics to begin with. I don't like that people try to push their opinions on to me, make me agree with them, I just don't care for it. So I when I saw it all over Facebook it really discouraged me. I really was getting upset, not mad, but just upset because I went to check Facebook to see updates and read all about politics. I think in the future I may just not check or even delete Facebook when it comes down to political events occurring. Now I just ignore all the pictures, comments, posts that have to deal with politics. Oh and I think the friend still tries to make comments but I ignore them. For example she will say something and if I give in then she will start talking about politics. So I will ignore the comments that I think are about politics. Have a good day!

I don't know if people get troubled on FB?. If they then its normal as the Ist rule of online activities teaches us not to rely on online friends they may cheat you but people don't care for it and get emotional and finally pay for it.

I don't have a problem with Facebook because all I have on there is business things. I network with many people for my Childcare Business. I don't put anything personal on there at all. I would not want to either. I have some family on there, but mostly people for my Childcare Business. I don't see anything spicy there or anything like that, Lol. Guess I don't have that kind of crowd there as my friends since I do Childcare! I have lots of mommies and companies.

It seems any people are having trouble on facebook. I believe this is the same case in other social networking sites as well. After all, there is always trouble where we find human beings. A human and trouble are two faces of the same coin. However, it is also true that many people are having an extraordinarily great time on facebook. As far as I know, facebook is probably the most popular social networking site. Many people have even found soul mates on facebook. One can have a lot of juicy talk on facebook. Of coure, sometimes the so-called soul mates end up in heavy trouble.
