Totaled my car

Twice I have lost my brakes. The first time this happened, my car kept running faster and faster. I just could not stop it. My breaks went out on me. It was going so fast, I knew if I turned It into a tree, the tree was not strong enough to make my car stop. I panicked. At that time I had a little infant. I was so happy my baby was home with a baby sitter. I was looking for a place where hopefully I could get my car to stop. Well, thankfully I saw a building. I parked against the building and I was so happy this building was able to make my car stop. To my surprise, when I looked up this building was a beauty shop. My car stopped right in back of the dryers. Was I lucky when I saw that there was not even one person under a dryer. I could have killed so many people. The next day I saw an article about this in the local newspaper. My car, of course, was totaled. I'm going to write another My Lot story about another incident where my breaks went out on me

It's really a great thing that lives weren't lost. With how you had described what happened, you are really blessed that only the car was damaged (even if it was totally wrecked) I think you should always have your car checked. Losing one's brakes isn't instantaneous unless someone deliberately ruined it. I think a part of the braking system had worn off or something. A regular maintenance check up might have avoided this from happening. :)

Hi, it is very scary when we lost breaks. You are lucky that you could stop your car at the building hadn't killed any person. Take care.
