Burnout on Fiverr and sorting one's life out...

This is more of a life thing than a Fiverr thing, so it's not in the money discussions:). So, last year I finally got Paypal, tried out Mturk, learned about transcription. This was wonderful since, because of very stupid and complicated life things, I've not been able to gain offline employment. Then I became a bargain-basement transcriber (cue guilty twinge)and received sporadic but profitable orders. In my blog, I mention transcriber burnout a few times, 'specially with Mturk, but it was okay with Fiverr because orders came in bursts. But this last month, I just burned out. I've been working for too little and doing too much, feeding into those dumb life problems. Not only that, but I really don't want to do this kind of thing forever, I need to stretch my wings. That will never happen if I plateau in something like Fiverr. Since this has been a way to keep cash in my pocket, I'm going to pick up my skills and get better quality work, but I need to make more time for myself, and make my education more of a priority. So, I guess I'm saying that this is my focus for the year 2013. Whew.

Hmmm, sounds like you're quite experienced dealing with Mturk and Fiverr. Since you said that these two can generate a passive income, it caught my attention there. Can you help explain to me what are Mturk and Fiverr? I would really appreciate it. :) Oh, and good luck in your goals for this year!

Haha hey, no problem at all. :) I was sincerely very curious about these two names since I came across them before. And I thank you too for taking the patience and kindness to answer me in complete, full detail. I'm glad that I could be of help to you too, indirectly. :)
