The couple I petsit for called me a number of weeks ago, and asked me to take the dogs for about 30 minutes. I walked around the block with them, then assuming as she said the appointment was at 2pm and it takes max 15 minutes. I went in put the dog beds back, nad shut the lights out, etc. She emailed me tonight to ask if I can go for an hour tomorrow while they show the house. Luckily I don't have to work tomorrow, so like last time it wasn;t such a hurry. She had said walk where you can see the house, and see when they leave, so I am assuming they didn't show up untl later (I mean why make an appointment at 2pm, and I left at 2:35pm from the house). Last time I took them around the block and back, so obviously the house is out of sight, what am I suppose to walk up and down this street people will be calling the cops. It sounds like selling a house, is so much work no wonder my parents never move.

I have watched several of my friends sell their houses and whether its worth it depends on where you live. One of my friends made a lot of money and bought another house in a different state and was able to pay off her house entirely from what she made selling her house here. Another friend sold her house and broke even, so in my opinion did great. She is able to retire and not worry about house payments like many people do today. I think the best part she had her house sold in a day, so made the entire process look easy. We purchased this house and it took a long time to get all the paperwork done, so it wasn't easy for us. We did save a lot of money and now pay less than we did renting. It was a smart move for us and our house is larger, so we have more room.

This couple just moved here not even a year (I believe May will be a year), they move every so many years. I couldn't handle the hassle of packing moving, let alone the paper work, and showing the house.

It can be such a hassle to sell a house. I have done it twice in my life and I hope I never have to do it again. Having open houses where you wait around for 2 or 3 hours for people to come and know one shows up. After all the work of cleaning and stages the whole house. The last time I was showing my house this couple came in with their agent and we were not allowed to be there. So my daughter and granddaughter and I waited in the car a few houses away. Well when they left we drove into the garage to find that the couple had locked the door leading into the home. I had to have my 4 year old granddaughter climb through a window to open the front door. I had left my keys in the draw in the house.

I would be fuming, I have always rented so never had this issue. I have been looking at mobile homes, but if I go look at them if we agree 2pm, I am there before 2pm. Last time they said 2pm, and I got back at 2:40pm with the dogs and they came in sometime after that. I would have no patients on it.

I suppose the potential buyers would not like it if they thought animals had resided there as well, otherwise I don't see the problem with having them in the back yard provided it's fenced in. As it is, I'd just walk around the block maybe once or twice. In this neighborhood, a certain path takes about a half an hour, so doing it twice, well an hour.

I think it’s good to selling house as we can make it has the investment our own property business. There are many people who are successful by this kind of business. You can make money if you know how to manage your own business.

It really isn't in the end, this couple has only been at this place a year in May.
