Bring with you 2 pieces of 2x2 picture with white background, barangay clearance, cedula and a valid ID (voter's ID, NBI, SSS ID, or any gov't issued IDs). And make sure to bring money too. ;-)

My sister in law just had hers the other day. She submitted 2 pcs of 2x2 colored picture, a photocopy of birth certificate or marriage certificate and also a residence certificate.

I think you'll need to have a cedula, barangay clearance and ID photos to get a postal ID. The payment would range from 350-500 pesos I believe. Also, in our area they require us to get a homeowners certificate before we could get a barangay clearance. So to avoid going back and forth the barangay hall, we should first secure a homeowners certificate. I am not sure though if the same applies to your area.

I think the only requirements are brgy. clearance, 2x2 picture and some fees for the ID. I got my postal ID here in Makati and I only brought these requirements.

i live in quezon city. i just walked into the nearest post office one day. they asked for 2 pictures (i had one passport size and one 1x1 of the same picture. they used the passport size in the id then laminated it and kept the 1x1 for their file). they gave me a form to fill up and asked me for a photocopy of 2 valid IDs. so i crossed the street and had my sss and voters ID photocopied because i figured they both show the same home address. as i mentioned, they laminated it right there and then. i can't remember how much i paid for it, but they gave me a receipt with a breakdown. don't you have an sss id yet? what bank have you chosen for paypal?

Visit the website of the Philippine Postal Office at www.phlpost.gov.ph. They have a step by step procedure on how to get a postal ID. They also have application forms that you can download. I think the cost of getting one varies per city.

Yeah, that is a good decision for you to have a postal ID. You can use it with any transactions you may have in the future. Having your Paypal account get verified is a wise decision. So, prepare those things mentioned by our friends and go to ny Post office near you. It won't take you long to get what you need. Have a great day!

You need to secure a baranggay clearance and then the Post Office will have your picture taken (2x2, i think) and in other municipalities, they will need you to have a certain document notarized (that would cost around 100php).
