I got my credit card 2 months ago and I have used it to buy something online. I live in India and the product which I purchased is in dollars. Now I am confused that how should I pay my bill, Obviously it has to be in Rupees( indian currency) but the conversion rates kepp on changing. For ex at the time of purchase the valuse was 1$=Rs.55 . When I receive my credit card bill what exchange rate will they follow? The exchange rate at the time of purchase or currency exchange rate at the end of the month (billing) ???

Usually the exchange rate at the time of purchase applies...

Yes, that's what I also believe. At least that's how most of my credit cards work if I used it to purchase something in another currency.

The exchange rate will be followed - the date you placed your transaction for purchase. If you have on line access to your credit card, you can check their.
