O.K. MyLot has stopped payment. Anyway some payment that was.
I had to struggle to the bone to reach my minimum. But have you forgotten everything else. So many of you are on sites that pay and many of you got the wind of them through myLot.
Why have you disappeared? Do come back occasionally and make your presence felt there

I had been gone forever and just came back tonight to the whole upheaval....wow has this place changed. I'm not so concerned about the money, I earn other places, but there was a large circle of friends I had here that have vanished. Hope they haven't gone for good.

I liked earning in mylot more than anywhere else. Sadly we all need money and we can't consume as much time as we want here anymore. I am still around here enjoying some discussions

They are gone because myLot is not paying as though myLot paid that big!

@allknowing That's not true, it is partly due to the way the people were treated with the snide remarks about earning $10 some other way... I forget how the statement read but it was insulting... I'll tell you here and now.. 10 measly bucks isn't going to make me or break me.
Of course, most of my time is on Bubblews because I make over $200 a month there! It's part of my livilhood.. like Yahoo... I made more in Bubblews in July than I did in Yahoo... o $10 has no bearing on whether I leave or stay... I just don't have the time for here.
I don't hate the foremat... I don't mind Twitter, so I don't mind this either... but it took a long time for me to get disgusted with Mylot... knowing how Bubblews shares their revenues... that tells me that Mylot probably is making out like bandits on our intellectual property.
I will hang out when Bubblews is down... which it is right now... and I'll come every now and then just to chat it up with old friends, but my time is spent elsewhere because it is my job... how else do I make $400 plus dollars a month between 2 sites? I just don't have the time to be here.

Hello dear friend! You are right..I haven't been around and the new layout here is certainly something to get used to. It's more about my life than the money thing though. I haven't even really got the chance to check the place out here proper yet..lol. Fingers and toes crossed it will be soon though.

I gave up coming here when I could not find my friends. Mylot for me was interacting with my friends. When they are not around what's the point. I see some are slowly getting back. We kind of built a relationship here. It was more that than the money we earned here.

YEP! i'm still here too, i was new here when they decided not to pay, it's a lost yeah but I'm still gonna visit from time to time, I do have a lot on my hands right now, summer school, a bunch of other online jobs (I'm saving up for a new phone 
)...but well i'm gonna hang around here, but then I don't really like posting something myself i'm more of a commenter and a reader...see you guys around

Some of us lead busy lives. We don't all have the time to participate if we don't get paid. While I did enjoy the discussions I had here, and am still upset that they discontinued the paying program....I simply don't have the time.
Not only that, but a lot of us hate the new layout.

you are right but I miss so much my mylot friends that I come back time by time to look for our community. I don´t mind if I get payed or not. I just want to interact again with our loved community...

@dainy1313 It's not really a matter of getting used to it... it's a matter of not liking it. I don't mind it, as I don't mind Twitter... but many don't like Twitter and they don't like a Twitter look alike. Many of us spent 6 years or longer here at Mylot... we liked the old layout... it was easy and you could see who your friends were, and you could see their discussions easily. The pay was nothing to write home about.. it took a whole month of posting and commenting and I sometimes didn't make payout in a month's time. I stayed at Mylot so long because I LOVED my friends here and I loved the way it was laid out.
Now I am too busy to stay here very much... I'm only here when my main site is down for some reason. It gives me a chance to say hello. This is a great site still, but I'm just to busy earning part of my living.

Bubblews is far better than I thought.
You can have really good discussions with decent categories set up and earn quite a significant bit more than mylot ever paid.

Even during the old myLot days there were many who were on Bubblews. I know myLot does not pay but I come here occasionally to visit my old friends. I do not like Bubblews as the payment there is influenced by the number of visits and comments you receive from others even though they may not have a clue on what you have written. I prefer if I am paid for my efforts. I am not for 'I scratch your back and you scratch mine' There are article writing and other sites where you are judged for your effort, for example 'iwriter' and Mora Chat.
And finally, to each their own. If you are happy with Bubblews do carry on but peep in here occasionally.

@allknowing Morachat is nothing... it sucks as a way to earn. Bubblews has been very good to me, and Almost everyone who likes, comments and views me has something constructive to say... and even if they don't.. I'm glad that i have that income... it makes a difference of how well my family eats or if I see a doctor when I need to. I could care less about who judges me .. I know I am a good writer.. My reputation of Yahoo Voices speaks for itself... I have no questions about what my writing is worth to people in the form of dollars and cents. That's my judge of my writing talent. It comes down to what I'm paid for views.
