Oh No! I'm Boring!

Clicked on Explore and got the default Interesting posts. It's blank! Nada. Nothing. Nothing interests me!
Am I that boring... or bored? 
Reloaded, still blank. Yeah, I know it's a glitch and it will go away eventually. No biggie, since all my 'interesting' posts seem to center around online earnings and I don't ever recall making that one of my top fav cats. Sorta nice to be boring, actually.

Hey Mylotter!
I haven't been on here for quite a while and find a brand new layout! It does look lovely, despite feeling slightly lost lol! I don't believe you are boring, maybe you need to look at your interests? Add more that you like and maybe it will show more for you to take a look at.

It was a glitch, Rite17 -- a server error. That's why the page kept coming up blank. I was just being facetious. You can't add interests the same as you did with the former myLot.. Now interesting posts are based on tags we use. fruitcakeliz explained how it now works.

well, from what i understand..the posts that will come up as "interesting" to you, will filter through based on discussions you have responded to...(correct me if i am wrong) and also tags you have made. Tagging is VERY important now in mylot if you ever want to be able to filter what you see. check out this post by go ask alice (site admin) that explains it..
personally, right now, the traffic is not so un-managable (due to the mass exodus at the begining of the month) that i find i have MUCH better luck finding topics i actually want to respond to just by using the "most recent" feature. i can scroll through a whole days worth in very little time (skipping over the money making/start your own business/buy my stuff posts) and just opening the ones that sound interesting in new tabs.......(i know..this is tech. "judging a book by it's cover.....but a girl has gotta do what she has gotta do in the limited time she has..)
Tags have always been a part of Mylot and have been a way for members to find posts. Now, they are not only a way of finding posts, they are essential to...

Oh yes, I do know about the tagging, but that's why I couldn't understand why I was getting so many 'make money online' posts and other 'interesting' posts that I don't ever recall tagging anything close to in the old OR new myLot. 
And it certainly wasn't one of my interests.
But there could be a downside to this whole tagging business, too. Now I find myself thinking twice before I tag anything, do I really want discussions targeted at me based on this tag(s)? 
Actually, I am like you, I just go to the Most Recent, but the reason I noticed the Interesting is because it defaults to that when you first hit Explore. In fact, I just tried it and yep, blank again. It's sorta funny.
