I have noticed for a very long time now that people tend to remain into relationships they are very unhappy with. In my opinion, it is never a bad idea to refrain from physical and verbal abusive relationships.
I also know that in many of these cases, people feel fearful to say to themselves that they deserve a better life from the one they are presently in. Anyone out there who is suffering in the quiet, please seek help before things get out of hand. No need to suffer in silence, there's a lot of help out there. Peace and love.

i totally agree with you. i have known many friends who were fearful of making a big deal about how they were treated, for fear of a) being thought of as weak or b) afraid of the consequences.
It is sad to realize, hard to communicate and difficult to accept.......so many fine lines like spider webs drawn everywhere.......

Hi fruitcakeliz,
It is really unfortunate though, because no one should be living in such daunting situation. And in many cases, the people who stay in abusive relationships were born and grew up in one as well so counseling is paramount.

yes, u r right~~people tend to keep things unchanged before they have to make choices~maybe everyone is afraid to change~it needs courage~i realised that for a long time~ i had thought i am a reasonable person. i try to convice myself never fear to make a choice,never be afraid to change~however, when things really happened, my first action is to run~i would rather i never know that~even though it is hard, we still need to do something~ sometimes i confused about the mechanism about people make choices and people's behaviors. i am learning Economics~ i also know Behavior Economics~and somewhat Neuroeconomics~i have to accept i am just a common person~ i have my shortcomings~~what i need to do is to keep telling myself to be brave and don't fear uncertainty as long as u think it is right~
