Planet Earth - We have only one, it's ours only ours, if we don't take care of it who will
I think global warming is a very big threat to us, however people and the government don't seem to be taking it very serious, we only have one planet and we are using it as a renewable resource when the fact is our resources are dwindling at a unbelievable rate...we have to start thinking about the future...our childrens and there childrens future. How to help stop the warming effect. -Walk don't drive unless absolutely necessary. -Fight for plant life, stop the clear cutting of our forests. -Recycle everything, less waste means less polution -Use every energy saving appliance possible to cut back on energy uses. These are just a few things we as consumers need to do...the list goes on and on. Here are a few links to sites that can show you how and what you can do to help http://greenliving.lifetips.com/cat/12345/global-warming/index.html http://www.sierraclub.org/globalwarming/home_heating/index.asp http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/popup?id=2489616 http://www.factcheck.org/article382.html

There are solutions to global warming available to us today and it's time we put them to use. These solutions will reduce the amount of heat-trapping gases that we emit into the atmosphere. Among the solutions are ways of reducing the amount of fossil fuels we use to power our vehicles and generate our electricity, and protecting threatened forests, which store carbon in their biomass. Many of the organizations that have contributed to the Global Warming

I recently saw a DVD which contains a presentation given by Algore on Global Warming and how serious it is. By the end of it I was so overwhelmed that we are facing a grave danger in the future and we should take measures in our own way to help. I would suggest everybody who reads this to go to www.climatecrisis.com There is a list of things which we,as common people, can do to help. The main issue is the alarming increase of Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and as a result increase int he temp and hence the melting of major ice caps at the North Pole. If corrective measures aren't taken now then without a doubt a lot many places in the world will be submerged under water..including Manhattan,NY. The DVD was very enlightening and today's youth should watch it to educate themselves. Many of them know very vaguely what "global warming" is. The DVD is called "The Inconvenient Truth".
