That when we blocked a user, not only would they not be able to contact us, but we would not have to see their posts. Particularly the spammers and those members that seem to not be considered spam for some reason or another, but yet they make 50 billion posts in a row advertising their services and have several other accounts that make the same type of posts for them so that the boards are cluttered with their crap. I have an idea. How about a limit to the amount of advertisement type posts per day. Of course they might make another account in order to by pass this limit, but maybe there could be a rule set in place for this. like no posting about businesses that have already been posted about by another member within the same day? Idk, but they are making it hard to find legit discussions.
