Examination scheduled for employment qualification

I am a recent graduate from the University of Phoenix so I have been applying for employment in my or similar field. One day an employer of whom I had applied notified me in the email of the scheduled date to take the exam for employment. I had to read a guideline and be tested on the material in a week. To say the least, the mission was difficult at best and stressful. I waited to take the test when I knew my children would be away and I could have complete silence and no distractions. The test was tedious and long. I failed it. I choked it up as "it was not meant to be, if God wants something for me it is done." I moved forward. A week later the employer notified me I would have an opportunity to take the exam again in 14 days. If I don't do anything within 14-days my name will be withdrawn from their system. Should I take the exam or move forward with other employment?

i would give it a shot....what have you got to lose? you will either pass it this time, as you know approximately the kinds of questions they will be asking you, or you will fail it again, and be in no worse spot than if you had not taken it.

I like your thinking. My mother told me to try it again but I wanted an impartial position and you provided this. You are right, I wouldn't be in no worse position. Thanks for the insight.
