It's HAWT and no AC

So I called the AC guy this morning and asked, "if I were to say my AC is out, how many million people would be ahead of me?" He laughed, and said "actually we aren't that busy. I can have somebody out there this afternoon." I fell out of my chair. It's been over 110 here for days. Anyway, when I explained the situation, power went out, when it came back up the AC was down, I flipped all the breakers off and on, still no AC, looked and saw the thermostat had no power, he agreed with me that it was probably a fuse. So maybe I'll get off cheap. Last night was interesting though. No AC, but fortunately it cooled off enough that I could use the whole house fan. Hope it's fixed tonight. I hate the heat...
